    Stop asking me for money – Kizz Daniel to fans

    Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel has urged his fans to refrain from constantly asking him for financial assistance, especially amidst the ongoing economic challenges in the country.

    The “Buga” hitmaker, who has been known for offering financial help to his followers through his X page, expressed his growing frustration over the numerous requests for money he receives whenever he goes online.

    In a post on his X handle, Daniel said that he would no longer entertain public requests for financial aid, emphasising that any future support would be given privately. He wrote, “Vaddicts [his fans], make una stop all this money thing each time I’m online… Shey, we no fit just vibe ni?! Even if God wan use me to bless person, it will be in private, not public. Not anymore.”

    Davido vows to protect Tiwa Savage amid past dispute

    Popular Nigerian musician Davido has assured the public that he will protect Tiwa Savage from any harm, a year after the singer filed a petition accusing him of threatening her life.

    The feud between the two artists began in January 2024 when Tiwa shared a photo with Sophia Momodu, Davido’s first baby mama, on social media. This led to allegations of threats from Davido, while Tiwa’s ex-husband, Teebillz, vowed to teach the singer a lesson.

    In a recent interview with Breakfast Club, Davido addressed the controversy, describing Tiwa as his “sister for life” and showing off their close bond. He explained that their issue was personal, stemming from Tiwa’s friendship with Sophia, but stressed that their relationship remains familial. “I would never allow anything to happen to her,” he stated, reaffirming his commitment to her safety and well-being.

    One year after the untimely passing of Nollywood actor Junior Pope Odonwodo, his widow, Jennifer Awele, shared a moving tribute on Instagram, reflecting on the enduring grief and the impact of his loss on their family. The post featured a touching family photo of Jennifer and their three sons, Jason, Jaden, and Jamon, standing beside a large portrait of Junior Pope.

    In her emotional message, Jennifer expressed the overwhelming nature of their sorrow: “Not a day goes by without a thought of you. Your love still surrounds us; your laughter echoes in our hearts.” She also spoke of the difficulties in staying strong for their children, particularly addressing the heartbreaking questions from their sons about promises Junior Pope made to them before his death.

    She concluded by thanking those who supported the family, stating that Junior Pope’s memory and legacy would live on forever.
